Our men meet for Godward every 2nd and 4th Sunday night at the church from 6:00 to 7:30 to encourage one another through accountability in personal spiritual growth and family worship. Additionally, we have several activities on our church calendar which are designed to build God centered friendships. Our men's ministry exists to help our men know Christ AND make Him known first within their home and secondly to others where they work, play, and live.
At Lakewood we encourage the women to support, encourage, and hold accountable their husbands in family worship. We also encourage the women to establish meaningful, Christ-centered relationships within their T.O.U.C.H. groups. Several activities planned on our church calendar for both in-reach and out-reach for the women. Specifically, the 3rd Thursday of the month is Titus 2 Tea-Time where the ladies gather at the church to fellowship and work through Titus 2 in a practical manner.
T.O.U.C.H. stands for "touching others using caring hands". These are small groups of 15 people or less that meet in homes weekly. The goal of these groups is to provide encouragement, friendship, outreach, and life application of the Bible. These groups meet on Wednesday evenings.
We currently have four Touch Groups, including a brand new Youth/Student Touch Group. Find the Touch Group that is right for you!
Our Outreach Vision
To Know Christ and make Him known by Encouraging personal evangelism and reaching the community with a corporate and consistent effort. Although we highly encourage our church to be actively building relationships and sharing the gospel with life and lips, the first Sunday of the month is our corporate outreach day.
